Les Bâtons d'Alain are hiking and ski touring poles developed by the Chamonix high mountain guide and alpinist Alain DESEZ.
Highly versatile, they can be used just as well in summer for hiking, trekking, or trail running, as in winter for ski touring, snowshoeing, or steep slope skiing.
The main advantage of the Bâtons d'Alain is their long ergonomic grip (Gold medal at the Concours Lépine in Paris in 2011). Thanks to this, your hands will always be well positioned, never touching the shaft, and with excellent support.
These one-piece poles, slightly flexible and equipped with a tungsten tip, ensure optimal energy transfer and the absence of a strap is both comfortable and reassuring. Finally, two pairs of removable baskets (38 mm at 5 g / 85 mm at 14 g) are provided for your adventures on dry or snowy ground.
Available in many colours, and still as high-performing, you will surely find the one you like.
