The XV Sushi Split is a board that's been clearly designed for powder. Its narrow shape makes it an ultra-manageable board and its fish shape means it glides effortlessly through deep snow. The technology AmpTek Elite offers explosive grip and pop.
The core of this board features L.I.T.E. technology, which addsurethane to the core throughout the edge to stabilise each edge grip so you can tackle corners with confidence, whatever the conditions.
One of the special features of the XV Sushi Split is the reverse directional flex. Why reverse? The board is rigid at the front and supple at the back, a flex that is unusual in the world of snowboarding, giving it greater manoeuvrability and precision.
The XV Sushi Split is a board that draws all its inspiration from the waves to try and translate these sensations onto the snow as well as possible.
- Cambre:
AMPTEK ELITE : The AmpTek Elite profile corresponds to a combination of positive camber over more than 80% of the effective edge length and rocker, or negative camber, 20% over the remainder, significantly improving edge hold, pop and stability.
- Shape:
Directional: the wide nose makes the front of the board protrude and the tapered waist improves turning. Tailored for turns, the board is directional does with the emphasis on carving fun.
- Edges :
Radcut Radcut:The RadCut is a unique combination of positive, or classic, turn radius between the feet and multiple inverted radii at the inserts, to allow the board's contact point with the snow to move with the rider's speed in real time and optimize the trajectory at all times. The board becomes more controllable at low speeds and more stable at high speeds
- Flex:
Reverse Directional - 6/10: Very directional Flex, rigid under the front foot to ensure control and power on the board. Moderately flexible under the rear foot for snow feel and better handling.
- Core:
L.I.T.E Wood : L.I.T.E Wood L.I.T.E. Frame construction features a urethane strip around the perimeter of the board core to absorb shock along the entire length of the board and provide a smooth glide..
