The Rise Junior is a touring ski for children from the brand Völkl. Perfect for young skiers who want to discover the joy of ski touring.
Designed with a poplar/paulownia wood core Multilayer Woodcore Light, and featuring a tip rocker, this model combines all the qualities expected of touring skis: ease on the ascent and fun on the descent. The 86mm waist offers excellent flotation in fresh snow, making it a pleasant ski.
Suited to the needs of young skiers, the Rise Junior will provide them with a great introduction to ski touring!

| MULTILAYER WOODCORE | The edge is laminated onto extremely stable wood layers on the sides of the ski’s multilayer core. This, combined with a more flexible and lighter wood inserted at the centre of the multilayer core construction, offers numerous advantages: The hardwood section immediately adjacent to the edge provides high power transmission, improves edge grip, and supports the sides against external impacts. The reduced weight of the softwood section at the ski’s centre ensures greater agility and better manoeuvrability and reduces the overall weight of the ski. The combination of these two types of wood along the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal distribution of ski stiffness while increasing precision in turns. This is the very first and unique edge/core construction technology designed for aggressive piste use and competition, capable of making the difference between victory and defeat, measured in hundredths of a second. |
