Durable and practical, with a 20-litre capacity and a range of accessories, it features internal sleeves for a shovel and probe, a compartment for crampons with direct access via velcro, and, most importantly, a ski holder that can be used without having to take the rucksack off your back. Strap on your skis, have a quick drink, and grab your ice axes to set off on a technical climb before putting your skis back on and hurtling down at full speed. You can even carry a teammate’s skis and use the tow ring to become one.
During a descent, the rucksack won’t get in your way at high speeds thanks to its adjustable waist belt and chest strap, as well as its ergonomic shoulder straps.
With all of this packed into such a compact technical piece of kit, you really have no excuse not to perform well.
