All-mountain skis - Men -
The Mantra 88 is an all-mountain men's ski from the brand Völkl designed for skiers seeking speed and performance.
This ski is made to cut the mountain in two at the speed of light. With carbon tips and a Multilayer Woodcore core made from a blend of poplar and beech, this ski is versatile to modulate power depending on the snow encountered.
Moreover, the 3D.Radius Sidecut technology allows it to be manoeuvrable and stable, whether in short turns or long curves at full speed. Thus, despite the width of its waist, edge changes are optimised to be more agile to better adapt to terrain changes. This construction is perfectly suited to the double rocker which improves turn initiation in all types of snow.
Its Tailored Titanal Frame construction is custom-made according to the ski length, offering better pressure transmission and excellent liveliness. Added to this is another innovation, the Tailored Carbon Tip, which provides more precision and agility at the tip. The carbon fibres are positioned in strategic areas with varying thicknesses to offer better turn entry as well as to play with the ski depending on the skier’s energy.
This ski is powerful due to its Full Sidewall construction but also promises better durability as it has been designed to withstand external impacts. The high-quality compact base offers even more excellent glide thanks to the P-Tex 2100.
Aggressive and versatile, the Mantra 88 will be ideal for experienced skiers who know how to send it on all terrains!

| MULTILAYER WOODCORE | Multilayer wood core with two different wood densities. In the binding area, a dense ash core is used, while the rest of the ski features a poplar core. The denser wood retains the screws and ensures stability, whereas the poplar section, being more flexible, provides resilience and suppleness. |
| P-TEX 2100 | High-density sintered polyethylene base with high molecular weight offering excellent durability and exceptional glide. |
| 3D RADIUS SIDECUT | Use of a long radius at the tip and endpiece for large, high-speed turns. The tip holds up at high speed and there is no radius limitation exiting the turn for greater ease. The shorter radius is used for smaller turns at medium speed, allowing easy turn initiation, exceptional agility, and especially less effort during short turns. |
| TAILORED CARBON TIPS | Custom technique allowing individual carbon fibres to be embroidered onto a carrier material. This enables precise positioning along tension lines, opening up new performance possibilities at the front of the ski, which decisively affects ski handling. Lightweight, they enable quicker reactions with less effort and rapidly accumulate energy. This achieves a new level of precision, direct tip response, and active skiing enjoyment. |
| TAILORED TITANAL FRAME | The width of the Titanal frame is adapted to each ski length. The Tailored Titanal Frames are custom-designed before integration into the ski above the sidewall of the tip and endpiece, providing these areas with the desired damping and torsional stiffness properties. The frame size is adjusted according to the skier’s height, skills, and strength. This means longer models have a higher proportion of Titanal, offering increased stiffness, even more direct pressure transmission, and enhanced damping. The shorter the model, the lower the proportion of Titanal, making the ski more agile. |
