All-mountain skis - Women -
The Blaze 94 is an all-mountain ski for women from the brand Völkl, designed for advanced skiers seeking smooth glide and lightness.
Its construction features an ultralight Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore made from a blend of poplar and beech, providing stability at high speed while keeping the weight low. Its brand-new innovation, 4D.Radius, which gives the ski not three but four different turning radii, allows you to link long, fast curves and short turns with control and stability. The Full Sidewall ensures strong and direct power transmission.
The double rocker offers excellent manoeuvrability, and its innovation Suspension Tips & Tails acts like a shock absorber to ensure outstanding resistance in challenging snow conditions as well as optimised flotation. Finally, the reinforcement at the binding area, the Titanal Binding Platform, provides optimal binding hold for even more precision, guaranteeing precise and efficient energy transfer between boot and ski.
The P-Tex 2100 base, made of high-density sintered polyethylene with a high molecular weight, offers high durability and exceptional glide, just perfect for blasting straight through powder fields.
The Blaze 94, more manoeuvrable than its bigger brother the Blaze 106 and offering more flotation than the Blaze 86, is therefore a very good all-mountain freeride ski that will let you descend powder slopes off-piste and at the piste edges while maintaining good lightness!

| HYBRID MULTILAYER WOODCORE | The sidewall is laminated onto layers of extremely stable wood. This, combined with a more flexible and lighter wood inserted at the centre of the construction, offers numerous advantages. The hardwood section immediately adjacent to the sidewall provides high power transmission, improves edge grip, and supports the sides against external impacts. The reduced weight of the softer wood in the ski’s core ensures greater agility and better manoeuvrability, while reducing the overall weight of the ski. |
| P-TEX 2100 | High-density sintered polyethylene base with a high molecular weight, offering excellent durability and outstanding glide. |
| 4D. RADIUS SIDECUT | This technology provides you with 4 different turning radii for unbeatable versatility. (1) 20 m radius over the first 10 cm. A tighter radius at the tip for a more immediate response and maximum precision/agility. (2) 40 m radius between the tip and the binding. The open radius at the ski’s tip gives the ski greater resistance to disturbances and stability at high speed. (3) 15 m radius under the binding which gives the ski greater agility, even with slight edge movements from the skier, enabling the dynamic needed for short turns. (4) 25 m radius on the ski’s tail ensures controlled and situation-appropriate dynamics at the end of the turn and provides optimal support for the transition into the next curve. |
| SUSPENSION TIPS AND TAIL | Elastic TPU inserts on the edges of the tip and endpiece act as shock absorbers when the ski contacts snow in windy conditions or snow compacted by grooming machines. Its elasticity absorbs impacts, ensuring greater stability and unobstructed flotation. |
| TITANAL BINDING PLATFORM | A thin layer of Titanal (0.3 mm) beneath the binding guarantees the strength needed for the ski. This way, the binding screws provide reliable hold even in the toughest conditions. |
