Ideal for ski touring enthusiasts, the Lyngen Down850 Indigo Night for men from Norrona are insulating bottoms to take everywhere this winter.

This is an ultra-functional mid-layer, filled with down, which provides optimal warmth. The compression system means you can fit them easily into your backpack.

Very practical, it has a full-length zip to make them easy to put on and off, while keeping your ski boots on. It can be used in two ways: under shell trousers or over them.

Comfortable and adjustable, it will fit all body types thanks to its Custom-Fit Waist™ system, making for easy adjustment.

The bum is insulated with Primaloft®, which retains warmth in the event of Autumns or tears.

Down 850

These products use the highest quality down possible. This jacket is a bi-product from the food industry (and is not from animals that were killed just to manufacture insulating products). The down that is used comes from the French Pyrenees where the birds spend their life in the open air. The handling of these birds complies with European standards and the highly specialised washing process used for this down complies with Oeko-Tex 100 standards. The Down™850 products have a down fill capacity of 850 to 900 cuin, with a down percentage of 93 to 96%.

PrimaLoft® Silver Eco

PrimaLoft® is a patented microfibre, which provides excellent thermal insulation to help the body maintain its temperature, minimising energy loss. Extremely light, water repellent, soft and compressible, and originally developed by the US Army as a replacement for natural down. This is because when down absorbs moisture, it loses its capacity for thermal insulation. PrimaLoft® absorbs three times less water, is 14% warmer when dry and 24% warmer when wet, than competing insulation.
