Aerogel is an aerospace-derived, extremely resistant gel that forms an ultra-light thermal barrier against the elements. The water-repellent Cordura Nylon outer fabric offers an abrasion and windproof barrier for a tear-proof result and ideal for staying warm even in the rain. Finally, the robust and flexible 2L Gore-Tex membrane is differentially distributed and reinforces the areas of greatest stress: shoulders, lower torso and wrists. A real bulwark against extreme conditions, this anorak can be worn as an insulating garment or as an extra warm and protective layer.
