Description

The Kanjo 84 is an all-mountain ski from Völkl designed for experienced skiers looking for versatility.

Its Multilayer Woodcore construction combined with the Full Sidewall along its entire length makes it a solid, responsive ski on the piste. Equipped with the innovative 3D.Radius Sidecut, you will be able to execute big turns with speed as well as small turns while maintaining control and stability. The double rocker combined with a fiberglass frame provides great handling and good cushioning to reduce vibrations.

The reinforcement on the Titanal Binding Platform allows the binding to be held securely and precisely to guarantee precise and efficient transmission of energy between the boot and the ski. Versatile and reliable, the Kanjo 84 is ideal for those who can't choose between the piste and the powder!

Core:
- MultiLayer Woodcore : The edge is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the ski's multi-ply core. This, combined with more flexible and lighter wood inserted in the centre of the core's multi-ply construction, offers a number of advantages: The hardwood section immediately adjacent to the edge provides high power transmission, improves edge grip and supports the sides against external impacts. The reduced weight of the softwood section in the centre of the ski ensures greater agility and better handling and reduces the overall weight of the ski. The combination of the two types of wood along the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal distribution of the ski's rigidity, while increasing precision in turns. It's the first and only core/edge construction technology designed for intensive use on the pistes, as well as in competition capable of making the difference between victory and defeat, measured in hundredths of a second.

Rocker :
- Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail, ski cambered at the bindings.

Sole:
- P-Tex 2100: Made of sintered polyethylene for strength and ideal glide.

Technologies:
-3D Radius Sidecut:
LONG RADIUS ON THE TIP AND TAIL: Use of the long radius in tip and tail for large turns at high speed Easy handling and manoeuvrability, resistant tip at high speeds.

- Glass Frame: The Glass Frame fibreglass frame gives a wide range of skiers easy access to dynamic, sporty riding, while providing stability and cushioning in the tip and tail.

-Titanal Binding Platform: A thin layer of Titanal (0.3mm) under the binding gives the ski necessary strength. In this way, the screws of the bindings provide a reliable hold even under the most difficult conditions.

- Full Sidewall: Thanks to Full Sidewall, which runs the entire length of the ski, power transmission is strong and direct.

Team review

The Kanjo 84 is an all-mountain ski that goes everywhere, yet still glides well on piste and can navigate short and long turns. It's a pleasure to carve curves on groomed snow and offers good rebound out of turns, while remaining stable at high speeds.

Pros: Versatile, responsive and great for linking turns on the piste.

Cons: Lack of lift in deep snow.
