These Ion all-mountain freeride boots are supported by their (8/10) stiff flex and their instant reactivity which makes them ideal for creating precise lines in the backcountry. The EST® midsole not only thins down the sole for a lighter weight but it also particularly improves board feel all while lowering your centre of gravity.
The extremely lightweight Life liner with the Total Comfort construction will be very comfortable from the very first time you wear them. Since comfort also requires a high level of heat retention, the Ion Boa® features Sleeping Bag thermal insulation and a DRYRIDE™ Heat Cycle™ lining to keep you nice and dry. Handy when you need to walk through the snow to get to the starting point you had planned out!

Cushioning:
ReBounce Cushioning: placed in the shell of the boot, close to your foot, and provides an extra layer of impact protection. The thermal insulation also traps heat. Retains its properties even in cold weather

Lacing:
- Dual-Zone BOA Coiler™ closure system: the boot consists of two distinct lacing zones which can be independently adjusted by turning the dial, this gives a customised fit in both the upper and lower sections of the boot. Laces made from natural fibres to increase comfort and ensure more natural flex.
- Lacing technology: the dial lacing system increases heel hold across three independent lacing zones with a single dial. Secure and consistent fit across the whole boot.
Comfort :
- Total Comfort Construction: Best possible feel from the very first use. The Total Comfort design leaves out the process of molding the foot to the liner, and instead it directly adapts to your body and foot shape.
Snow proof internal gusset: the lower zone of the boot is completely sealed off from the snow, keeping feet warm and dry all day.
