That's what it's all about. Down to the smallest detail. We develop probes for the specific needs of different types of users. The need for speed and accuracy is fundamental because it can save lives. We strive to work on details that make rescue even more intuitive and which can, in combination with the avalanche transceiver and the shovel, help us rescue the victim even faster.

PFA 2.0 quick tension system:
The 2.0 version of our often copied quick-tension system is even thinner and less cumbersome, for fast, unrivalled assembly performance. Thanks to the new tensioning strap, the probe extends straight out of the holder. It retracts by simply pressing the thumb on the system cover. 

Ergonomic handle:
The thin, lightweight rubber coating ensures a good grip and does not freeze.

Intuitive guidance probe:
The intuitive visual guidance system provides a quick and clear indication of the burial depth at all times. The bold marking at 1m, the depth scale and the last coloured segment make it possible to optimise the digging strategy and thus save precious time. The lower fluorescent orange segment clearly shows when you
are approaching the victim.

Quick-release case:
The quick-release strap allows immediate opening and tensioning with a single movement without having to remove the probe from its case beforehand.

Large probe tip:
A clearly larger diameter than that of the other probe elements ensures better penetration of the snow.
