The Wayback range offers excellent downhill performance, great grip and impressive stability in all snow conditions. This range has also been fitted with Snowphobic hydrophobic topsheets. These prevent snow from sticking to the top of your skis, which would weigh your skis down. Ingenious! The Skin Grommets attachment system is very easy to use and very reliable.
This ski is a limited edition and a collaboration with the American rock band Grateful Dead Syf.
Indeed, the Titanal Touring Technology, a construction combining a Paulownia Tour Lite wood core, chosen for its lightweight properties and lively performance, and two layers of carbon fibre and fibreglass reinforcements. To top it all off, a Titanal plate, mainly placed around the centre of the ski, offers exceptional stability without weighing the ski down.
With its 96mm waist, the Wayback is the widest in the range. Despite an assumed love for downhill skiing, where the ski has no trouble thawing fresh snow, facing steep slopes, crossing difficult types of snow, and carving on packed snow thanks to its very alpine character, the Wayback 96 is also certainly not afraid of uphill climbs! With its very reasonable weight, you can envisage long day trips and more without hesitation. The Wayback 96 is the most versatile of the range.

Le plus polyvalent de la gamme Wayback à n'en pas douter. Encore allégé par rapport aux versions précédentes, le Wayback 96 a aussi gagné en stabilité et dynamisme grâce à sa nouvelle construction intégrant une légère plaque titanal. Le dénivelé s'enchaîne sans trop de souci et le ski s'exprime encore mieux dès que l'on enclenche le mode descente. Sur piste, il carve comme un ski de piste, avec de bonnes relances grâce à un talon au caractère très alpin. En neiges compliquées, le Wayback 96 excelle et permet d'éviter de se faire rétamer les chaussettes à la moindre vibration. Avec ses 96mm au patin et une assez large spatule, le ski flotte bien en poudreuse.
Les Plus : Poids, rigidité en torsion offrant stabilité et accroche en toutes neiges, caractère alpin
Les Moins : On adorait déjà la version précédente, celle-ci est encore supérieure, le seul point négatif est donc que vous risquez d'abandonner toutes vos autres activités pendant l'hiver
