The new Nitro Volta 2024 is a touring snowboard for women from intermediate to advanced levels. But make no mistake, the Volta is no low performing board and isn't for inexperienced off-piste riders!
The Nitro Volta 2024 has been redesigned compared to previous seasons. Its new directional shape is ultra-high-performance and will allows for magnificent runs. It's still the most affordable board on the market, and will give many snowboarders their first taste of snowboard touring. But don't skip any steps, especially those of safety, even if the Volta will push you to look for new spots and to take on increasingly difficult routes. The grip is improved thanks to the Power Pods on the heel and forefoot supports.
Made to take you off the beaten track, the Volta 2023 is equipped with a Premium Extruded FH Base which offers good glide but above all is very easy to maintain. Yes, the guys at Nitro know you pretty well and know that sometimes you might scrape accross some sharp stones!
The Volta 2023 will make you fall in love with touring and you won't ever want to go back to the resort to queue for the chairlift!

Turn radius/Sidecuts/Set back:
152cm: 8.5/6.5/8.5 m / 278-242-277 mm / -25
146cm: 8.5/6.5/8.5 m / 272-239-271 mm / -20
Camber:
Cam-Out (Standard camber+Rocker): The Cam-Out Camber is a smaller camber with a finer transition in the tip and tail. As a result, the board is more lively than a traditional camber. However, you still get the pop and control you expect from a camber.
Shape:
Directional Splitboard: Classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow. A directional shape is one in which the nose is wider than the tail for better corner entry and exit, stability at high speeds, and improved flotation.
Dual Degressive Sidecut: A narrower sidecut in the middle that ends at the tip and tail. This creates an open and playful feel and is Nitro's most forgiving sidecuts.
Power Pods : The width at the heel and toe supports is wider. The result is a more responsive board that bites faster into the ice with improved grip. This technology offsets the edge of the rocker, so that you can firmly lock into any moves. The Power Pods act as power steering.
Width: Standard
Flex:
5/10 All-terrain - Rigid Flex. Versatile flex for guaranteed responsiveness and all-mountain pop.
