The Vipec Evo 12 binding from Fritschiis a hiking binding that is easy to put on!
In the latest version, the materials of the fastener have been redesigned. Fritschi used new high-tech carbon fibre reinforcedplastics. The fixing is more reactive but above all more durable.
As for safety, the Vipec Evo 12 has a front stop that allows lateral safety release with 13 mm of elasticity and Din adjustment and a heel piece that allows frontal safety release like an alpine ski.
In addition to the front release of the heel pad, the tilting of the shoe during a fall causes the nose of the shoe to press on the Release Lever , which automatically releases the shoe at the stop.
The Vipec Evo 12 provides easy and intuitive on and off. This is achieved by the toe of the shoe finding its optimal position against a fixed stop and a visual indication. A slight pressure is enough to close the system.
The transition from up to downhill position is very comfortable and can be done without removing the ski but simply with a pole. Switching between the three climbing positions is also easily done with the stick.
The Vipec Evo 12is not only safe, but also light, comfortable and efficient on both ascents and descents.
