The UNW8 makes a strong comeback this season and is part of the Centrifugal Collectionrange, a range of boards that perform superbly in carving and are very comfortable off-piste. The Centrifugal
boards are the most technologically advanced, containing the latest innovations from the brand.
It is the most versatile snowboard of the range. Even if it's on the piste that it's unbeatable, you can always take it for long days 100% freeride or take it in the park to try new rotations.
Since it's designed to pick up a lot of speed on all types of snow, it needs exemplary stability. To achieve this, Amplid has developed its own Antiphase™ technology: a combination of carbon fibre and non-Newtonian fluid that drastically reduces vibrations and prevents the nose from vibrating.
The flex of 8, the tri-axial glass fibre layers and the Lite Core make it a hyper reactive and ultra precise board that switches instantly from one edge to the other and carves as if you were in rails. In addition, Centrifugal Carbon inserts in the tail amplify the pop and give crazy energy at every turn.
The UNW8 is therefore a high-performance, highly versatile board that will follow you everywhere as long as you go fast and hard.

Shape:
- Tapered Directional: Classic shape with a nose longer than the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. A tapered shape is one where the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit the curve. Stability at high speed and improved flotation guaranteed.
- Pop Camber: Standard long camber under the supports for a very long effective edge and excellent energy release when tensioned.
- All-terrain Tips: Slightly wider tips that increase lift without compromising the board's responsiveness.

Les planches de la gamme Centrifugal Collection sont très appréciées au sein de l'équipe, leur capacité de carving et leur comportement en poudreuse sont deux points qui nous sont chers.
La UNW8 est notre board préférée de la gamme. C'est une excellente planche all-mountain qui est super à l'aise sur piste et permet de tailler de magnifiques courbes. Le cambre amène une prise de carre appuyée et précise, tout en développant un pop énergétique. Elle se comporte également très bien en peuf, déjauge avec facilité et se manie facilement.
Bref, la planche all-mountain parfaite.
