The Ubac 89 is a men's touring ski by ZAG.
New for this year and exclusively available at Snowleader, the Ubac 89 si designed for effortless long outings! To achieve a weight of 2.54kg a pair (176cm), the brand has used a similar construction to that of the legendary Ubac 95. It features ZTH Hybrid construction and a 100% paulownia wood core. This type of core is well known for its lightweight performance. It also has multiaxial carbon and fibreglass which make the ski more rigid and dynamic. Combine that with ABS straight sidewalls for faultless grip on all terrains, a sintered soul for speed at all times, HR edges more resistant to impact, and you have the perfect ski for both the ascent and the descent!
As for the shape, the Ubac 89 was designed with a lightweight standard camber that's underfoot for efficiency and power. The rocker at the tip and tail improves buoyancy and handling on powder days. It performs really well on hard snow too.
If you're a fan of long ascents and gorgeous descents, then look no further, this is the ski for you! The weight/performance ratio is exceptional!
