Weighing in at just over 1kg per boot(1080g in size 26.5), the Travers Gr W is resolutely dedicated to uphill performance, so you can link up the vertical drops and save as much as possible for the slopes of virgin snow. With theActive Cuffthe Travers Gr W has an 80° range of motion, so you can walk in a truly natural way and never feel 'restricted' by the shoe. With all that, there's no excuse for not performing well on the climb.
On the downhill side, you might think that such a lightweight boot would be difficult to handle in ski mode, but its 100% Grilamid construction provides progressive flex and enough stiffness to deliver good downhill performance. The BOA tightening system is an easy to use, solid and precise dial that controls a cable and a pulley, and allows for a millimetre-accurate fit. Added to this is a thermoformable lacing liner that adapts perfectly to your foot, making the Travers Gr W a super-comfortable shoe.
