The Tourist Black are men's snowboard boots from Burton specially designed for splitboarding.
_x000D_Developed in collaboration with the research and development team at Sparket the riders of the Burton team, Tourist boots are made to endure all the adventures you will take them on this winter.
_x000D_The Tourist features one of Burton's best developments, the Life Liner. This liner offers DryRIDE Heat Cycle insulation that provides a lot of warmth to the foot but also perfectly wicks away perspiration. Ideal for long ascents!
_x000D_Fully designed for walking, the Tourists offer a negative degree of flexion that allows you to extend your steps when you have switched to ski mode. This negative bending also helps to delay the onset of fatigue. The Vibram quality soles give the boots incredible grip so that you walk stress-free in the most exposed places.
_x000D_The rigid flex and boot construction allow for a precise and aggressive ride. In addition, the firmness of the boot improves control of each ski when you are in hiking mode. This lateral stiffness is even more useful when traversing across.
_x000D_Warm and made to withstand the harsh conditions of winter, the Burton Tourists are designed to take you to the top under the best possible conditions so you can then send it fully on the way down!
Flex: 8/10, stiff flex. PowerUp Plus 1:1 tongue, thermoplastic reinforced tongue for maximum reactivity.
Negative" Flex: Backward bending is facilitated by the construction of the collar. This makes it easier to walk on climbs.
Level: expert.

_x000D_Inner boot:
Life liner: lightweight shoe that adapts to all foot shapes for a relaxed feeling. The PU reactive tongue gives the shoe agility and makes it more durable.

Ultralon Performance Foam®
Tuff Cuff: like for the pros, increased ankle and heel support and stability of the inner boot. Complete flexibility along the entire length of the foot.

The Tourist is the very first snowboard boot specially designed for Splitboards. It is just stiff enough to properly control each ski when walking. The small negative flex also lets you take slightly bigger steps compared to other boots.
Comfortable but responsive, the Tourist ensures precise and infallible splitboard control.
The Pros: precision, comfort
The Cons: Nothing to report
