The The Matriarch 2027 from the brand Capita, designed by Torstein Horgmo, combines the freestyle spirit with the power of freeride to explore the entire mountain with creativity.
Its Directional shape and rather stiff flex provide precision, stability and responsiveness to riders who like to commit to their turns, exploit natural terrain features and carve new lines in powder. Its Alpine V4 profile combines a traditional camber pronounced underfoot with more progressive tips and tail. This geometry ensures excellent pop, dynamic riding and reliable edge hold, while facilitating float in deep snow. The Blended Radial sidecut delivers smooth transitions to maintain control and precision across varied terrain, from the resort to the backcountry.
Its high-end construction is based on the Transcend Core™, reinforced by Bamboo Power Beams™ stringers to maximise power and responsiveness while keeping weight down. The Hybrid SuperCarbon™ HolySheet™ fibre, combined with Magic Bean™ resin, enhances the board's liveliness. The 20 mm Fairmat™ carbon reinforcements provide a sharp response and increased durability thanks to recycled carbon sourced from the aerospace industry. Finally, the sintered HyperDrive™ base guarantees fast and long-lasting glide.
