Ski touring bindings -
The Tecton 13 Carbon binding from Fritschi is a freerando binding.
The Tecton 13 Carbon is the result of the combination of the new Vipec Evo 12 stop (with pins) and the revolutionary heel pad with a jaw retention system. For increased durability this new version has a carbon fibre reinforcedplastic.
This binding, like the alpine bindings, has a front release with a DIN value set from 5 to 13 with a dynamic travel of 13 mm. The heel piece has 9 mm of elasticity on the front release. The return force of the spring thus prevents unintentional release and compensates for the high tensile forces applied to the leg in the event of a forward fall. This ensures a comfortable release.
In addition, the Tecton 13 Carbon has a triple-powered heel cupto allow for 3-dimensional force transfer. In this way, you will have an easy and precise handling of the skis, even if they are wide. At the rear, where the major forces occur, the binding remains stable and rigid and transfers the forces directly and without loss between the boot and the ski.
Finally, the Tecton 13 Carbon has a Power Rail in the heel cup that acts on the insert to keep the shoe centred and prevent loss of force from lateral movement.
The Tecton 13 Carbon is a powerful, stablefreerando binding that transfers forces well.
