Swath Boa Black
The Swath Boa® is an all-mountain freestyle men's snowboard boot, where flexibility and comfort are key criteria.
With a 5/10 medium flex , the Burton Swath Boa® is a model designed for use on the piste and freestyling. Made from Shell Ultraweavematerial, the Swath Boa® has improved waterproofing and retains its initial flex much longer thanks to this very strong woven mesh.
The Swath Boa® provides excellent freedom of movement, especially when flexing thanks to the Articulating Cuff construction, which separates the movements between the top and the bottom very well. Thus, the Swath Boa® does not squash like other boots but ensures a natural and less limited flex. You'll be able to send some slammed ollies!
The DynoBITE EST® outsole is optimized for Burton EST® bindings and provides additional traction under the forefoot and heel. In addition to providing lightweight cushioning, the DynoBITE EST® sole improves the power transfer from your shoe to your binding.
The Swath Boa® ensures, with the Boa® system, a tightening that will not move all day long. It also differentiates between the upper and lower lacing areas of the boot, for a precise fit with a click.

Imprint ™ 3: Focus Cuff Heel Hold System with hook and loop velcro J-Bar hardware and Inner Lace Lock. Sock lock. Rad Pad increases lacing comfort. Velcro fastening liner. Thermoformable.
Focus cuff: the Focus Cuff rides higher on your ankle to increase heel support for increased response.
Cushioning:
ReBounce Cushioning: this is in the shell of the boot, close to your foot, and provides an extra layer of impact protection. The thermal insulation also traps heat. Consistent performance in cold temperatures.
Lacing:
Dual-zone BOA Coiler™ closure system: these Burton New England Rope laces are indestructible and guaranteed for life. The Coiler reel is a quick and effective system to adjust laces easily. Natural fibre ropes have a more natural flex and feel for greater comfort.
Comfort:
Total Comfort Construction: Best possible feel from the very first use. The Total Comfort design leaves out the process of moulding the foot to the liner, favouring instead a liner that adapts to your body directly.
Snow proof internal gusset: the lower zone of the boot is completely sealed off from the snow, keeping feet warm and dry all day.
Isothermal Sleeping Bag technology: light, thin layer to insulate your foot.
Ultraweave Shell Construction: very strong woven mesh providing increased waterproofing and durability.
Outsole:
DynoBITE EST® outsole: The DynoBITE outsole with ReBounce cushioning has an additional layer of traction at the forefoot and heel for maximum grip. The DynoBITE provides lightweight and long-lasting shock absorption specifically for snowboarding.
The rubber outsole contains recycled materials.
Shrinkage™ technology: reduces the overall outer-sole by one size. A size 10 will wear a size 10 but with a size 9 outer-sole profile. A shorter, lighter weight.
Sizing tip: We recommend that you order a size up from your usual size.
The Swath Boa® bring a breath of fresh air to snowboard boots. The articulated construction of the Swath Boa® inspired by the top-of-the-line SLX model is a real advantage over other medium flex freestyle boots. We feel the movements are much less limited with non-existent sensations of "stiffness" in the boots.
The Swath Boa® offers sensations that could be obtained with classic lacing boots but with a quick release system. The Swath Boa® are perfect for riders of various sizes who want to ride smoothly and without getting their legs broken.
Advantages: lightness and freedom of movement.
