The Summit 7 Stopper are ski-touring bindings from Plum.
Part of the Freerando range, the Summit have been designed so you can ski hard without safety apprehensions. They ensure optimal comfort while touring and are ultra-easy to use. However, they are still light at only 550 grams per foot, so you will never be restricted in your quest in powdery valleys and challenging passages.
The front jaw is inspired by the well known Guide but is slightly raised and widened so that your shoe fits perfectly with the rear heel support, thus avoiding "suspension". You'll benefit from the natural flex without compromising your safety and comfort. Putting on is always easy and is done in the blink of an eye with the Too Facilesystem, an optimisation of the jaw position.
The heel piece is completely new and makes a strong case. As well as a built-in automatic ski stop that's very easy to use, this one has 3 levels of wedges, adjustable with the washer of a stick without having to bend down. Perfect for saving time and energy for a comfier ride. It also features a 30mm adjustable back plate, offering a range of adjustment to several sizes. Finally, in the heel there is a heel wedge to better connect your shoe to the binding for a better power transfer.
The Summit 7 Stopper offers high manufacturing quality thanks to its construction, machined from the mass of highly resistant aeronautical aluminium, steel and plastic. The quality of finish on this binding is unquestionable, as it is manufactured and assembled by hand in Haute-Savoie.
They're ideal for skiers after a safe, comfortable binding that's also lightweight and reliable when it comes to ascents.
