Here is theOptisplitstic, Yes' first splitboard for men.
After several months of study and testing, the Optisplitstic is ready to accompany experienced riders in the wilderness, far from the slopes. Inspired by the Optimistic freeride model to guarantee a quality descent with maximum fun.
On the way up, stability and lightness are the most important factors with its wooden core optimised to avoid unnecessary weight on the splitboard. With three different woods - poplar, paulownia and bamboo - it is lightened while retaining its reactivity and pop.
The Underbite technology patented by Yes allows a better distribution of the support force on each edge grip. The Optisplitstic moves easily on all terrains with exceptional grip and optimal control.
The efficient and reliable clip system has been developed by Spark R&D®, to maintain a torsion resistant downhill twist. Its classic camber will handle the speed while maintaining stability. It is a high performance splitboard that will transmit the power you want whenever you need it.
Perfectly adapted to evolve on all types of snow, the Optisplitstic is ideal for discovering new combos and unveiling them at high speed!

Camber :
Classic : It is known to bring high-speed stability, precision, pop and power in power transmission. It is ideal for carving.
Shape :
UnderBite: significant reduction of the sidecut between the supports which improves the swivel range. The board is reactive in the skate and stable under the supports thanks to its width.
Directional : It's the most freeride shape of the brand. The wider nose gives the board more lift and helps to stay on the surface effortlessly. The firmer tail gives a more aggressive behaviour with a more precise drive.
Core:
Poplar, paulownia et bamboo: Lighter and more reactive wood core than Full Poplar. Poplar + bamboo uses the same durable core, lightening it by replacing 30% of the poplar with paulownia, then inserts bamboo along the entire length for more pop and responsiveness.

Triax : Tri-axial fibreglass.
Sole - Sintered True : sintered sole obtained by pressure. Stronger sole than extruded soles.
