Splitboard bindings -
The SOK from Plum is a splitboard binding designed for riders who want to use hardboots while touring. It offers precision and stiffness for tackling steep slopes and hard snow.
Its baseplate incorporates Plum's jaw system, which ensures an effective clamping of the two parts of the splitboard in descent mode, providing a behaviour close to that of a traditional snowboard.
For the ascent, two configurations are possible. The binding comes with the ascent bracket of the IMA/IMD interface, allowing use similar to Feyan and Eterlou systems. It is also possible to use Low Tech toe pieces, such as the Pekye, with compatible insert boots. This configuration helps reduce weight and improves efficiency during the climb.
The SOK system is particularly suited to two-piece splitboards, while the combination SOK + Pekye can be suitable for four-piece splitboards.
Note: this model is supplied with the IMA/IMD ascent and descent interfaces for two-piece splitboards and Sksplit knife supports. The Pekye toe pieces are sold separately.
