The modelAlpi Race 24 is based on the previous model, with the addition of an outer pocket for storing your helmet, allowing you to keep your hands free at all times. This bag has been designed to meet the needs of ski tourers who wish to get around quickly in the mountains, and of those who do not wish to carry around heavy and bulky equipment. Lightweight and sturdy, this backpack is also well-suited for ski-mountaineering races.
With a foam and mesh back and straps, the bag is both breathable and comfortable. The Alpi Race 24 has a quick ski attachment system and an easily-accessible bottle holder you can get to without taking off the bag. Be careful what you put in it, apparently taking a sip of genepi is now considered doping! (Unofficial source from the Snowleader offices).
The bag also has many compartments, a zipped pocket, a probe pocket, an easily-accessible pocket designed for crampons, and a water bottle holder. It is also equipped with an ice axe holder and an emergency whistle
In short, the Skialpi Pack Plus Helmet from Movement is a bag very well-suited for both leisure and competition ski touring, and for those who want to have enough space to carry everything they need, while also travelling very light.
