Built with 2 telescopic sections offering an adjustable length from 85 cm to 140 cm, they stand out due to a structure made of thin-walled aluminium tubes. This design ensures an optimal balance between lightness, essential for fast ascents, and stiffness capable of withstanding the mechanical stresses of intensive use in high mountain environments. In terms of handling, these poles lock with an ergonomic aluminium clip, easily operated even with gloves on. The clip’s tension screw can be tightened without any tools.
Ergonomics and contact with the snow have been carefully considered so that this model adapts to all slope gradients. The double foam grip offers a firm, soft, and comfortable hold, complemented by a ribbed lower section ideal for gripping the pole lower down on traverses or steep slopes without needing to readjust the pole length. It comes with ultra-thin, adjustable, and soft-material ergonomic straps.
Traction and support on hard or icy snow are ensured by a hardened steel tip that is particularly resistant to corrosion and wear, assisted by a flexible, articulated basket. The latter conforms to the slope’s angle and terrain irregularities to prevent slipping. A rubber tip cover is also included to facilitate transport and storage of these poles.
