Sidewinder 2027
Snowboard carving - Men -
Product not eligible for return
No subject to promotional offersThe Sidewinder 2027 from the brand Capita is a snowboard designed for carving enthusiasts seeking precision, grip, and power on piste.
Its flex offers a balance between responsiveness and forgiveness, allowing for smooth linking of turns while maintaining control as the pace picks up. Its Directional shape with a 0.8" setback promotes stability when descending and commitment in turns.
The Alpine V3 profile combines a low camber with short flat zones at the ends of the sidecut, merging the power and responsiveness of traditional camber with greater control. Its progressive sidecut eases turn initiation and supports precise trajectories, while its shaped tail favours dynamic turn exits.
Its Dual Core™, made of poplar and beech, combines lightness, liveliness, and durability. The Special Blend fiberglass and Magic Bean™ resin reinforce the construction, while the carbon and aramid reinforcements add more power and responsiveness without weighing the board down. Finally, the Quantum Drive™ sintered base efficiently absorbs wax to provide fast and lasting glide, provided it is properly maintained.
The Sidewinder is ideal for riders who like to commit to their turns, carve incisive lines, and exploit the full potential of groomed pistes with a high-performance yet accessible board.

Flex: 5/10 - Balanced and responsive
| ALPINE V3 | The ALPINE V3 profile features a low camber that flattens before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections provide increased control while maintaining the responsiveness and power of a camber board. |
| DUAL CORE™ | Light and lively poplar core combined with beech for increased power and durability. |
| QUANTUM DRIVE™ BASE | The QUANTUM DRIVE™ base is made from an advanced blend of ultra-high molecular weight compressed polyethylene. An evolution of the already renowned ULTRADRIVE™ base known for its blazing speed, this base offers higher density for enhanced durability; it absorbs more wax, allowing for longer and faster glides. Properly maintained, sintered bases are fast and durable; they are the preferred choice of many high-end gear enthusiasts worldwide. |
| SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN | Special Blend is an eco-responsible wet lamination process using our MAGIC BEAN™ resin; this system requires less energy while delivering superior technical properties. This process improves the factory working environment as it avoids the harsh chemicals often used in resin manufacturing elsewhere in the world. |
| CARBON ARAMID BOOSTERS | Known for its stiffness, high tensile strength, light weight, resistance to high temperatures, and low thermal expansion, carbon fibre is one of the most sought-after materials for current high-performance applications. We increase the power and responsiveness of a wide range of models by integrating different variants of carbon fibre (thickness, width, weight, or weave type), while ensuring exceptional lightness of our boards. |
