The Shadowban 2025 is an all-mountain snowboard for men developed by the brand Ride

Aimed at intermediate to advanced riders, the Shadowban is an ultra-versatile board that offers plenty of room for progression for anyone looking to improve their technique on a wide variety of terrain. From piste to snowpark to powder, this board does it all, and does it well!

In terms of shape, we're going to find a directional twin profile that will allow you to ride easily in switch and offer you maximum freestyle possibilities. However, the Shadowban has a great rocker in the spatula as well as recessed inserts that make it very manoeuvrable in powder. But that's not all, the classic camber is there to give it grip on the piste and will delight you if you're a carving enthusiast.

The Shadowban also has an aspen core with bamboo and palauwnia reinforcements that make it a lightweight board but with plenty of character. In addition, Carbon Array 3 and Carbon Slimewalls inserts are present all around the bindings and provide millimetre precision as well as power when tensioning the board. On the exit of turns, you are catapulted towards the next turn but always keeping control of the board.

Lastly, the Shadowban features Double Impact Plates from Ride, which cushions on landings that are a little too violent and smoothes out irregularities in the snow by absorbing vibrations.

Camber:

- Directionnal Twin Standard Camber: Classic camber combined with rocker, for greater lift and grip in all snow conditions. The longer tip rocker improves float, while the camber ensures edge hold and response. The shorter rocker on the tail offers the power and stability of a traditional board but reduces hang-ups at the start of turns and landing switch.

Construction:

- Quadratic Sidecut: A clever mix of 3 different curve radii for easy curve entry and exit. The Quadratic Sidecut is adapted to the shape and size of the board, of course!
- Performance™ Core: It is a very strong aspen core, combined with bamboo for its flex and paulownia for its light weight. A perfect blend of strength and lightness.
- Double Impact Plates: 2 reinforcement plates superimposed and placed under each of the binding zones. Improves resistance when compressed and reduces the risk of breaking.
- Pre-Cured Glass : Glass fibers prepared in the USA to have the best possible resin/glass ratio, in order to obtain a constant flex and stability throughout the board. It's the highest performing finish.
- Semelle: Sintered in Ptex 4000, which is more durable, dense, and resistant than an extruded base.

Technologies:

Slimewalls®	The Slimewalls® exclusive RIDE are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skateboard wheels, Slimewalls® 's urethane smooths the interaction with snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Roll In Construction	3D construction around the Slimewall edges reinforces rigidity, prevents the torcher from disintegrating and reduces the overall weight of the board.
Carbon Array 3	This energy distribution technology offers total control of the board at every position. The wide carbon beams in the attachment area collect data from any support width and any pressure angle. The rider's input is then channelled to the opposite contact point for maximum control of the board. Available in two technology levels, 3 and 5.
