Versatile freeride skis - Men -
The Sakana 2026 is a Versatile freeride ski for men's from East. Line for riders of Experienced to Expert level.
As the little brother of the Pescado free-ride skis, the Sakana also possesses a surf-inspired Swallowtail that gives these skis impressive manoeuverability in powder.
More versatile than its big brother, it is not only effective in fresh snow. The 105mm waist provides added versatility and its slightly stiffer flex gives it a better on-piste performance. The long camber allows you to apply a lot of pressure on it for fast turns and long carving edges. What's more, the big front rocker incorporates technology Early Rise technology to give huge lift in Powder snow.
Extremely light thanks to the use of paulownia in the Core, the Sakana offers an excellent weight/power ratio and guarantees high energy release when the ski is put under tension. Thanks to the technology FivecutEast technology, this ski is extremely easy to handle, and turns are a breeze on both hard snow and powder snow.
Ultra-high-density polyethylene sidewalls absorb vibrations from the terrain and Belayer the ski's impeccable stability throughout the run. What's more, the carbon and flax inserts Carbon Flax Tape and Linen fibre inserts guarantee instant power delivery.
The Sakana 2026 East is an all-purpose freeride model that will delight skiers looking for a model for Hiking or for all-day freeride fun.

- Sintered sole for optimum glide and greater durability against impact and abrasion resistance
- Carbon and Linen reinforcements for increased rigidity
Materials:
- Core: paulownia and maple
- Edges: ultra-high density polyethylene
| SWALLOWTAIL | The absence of material in the tail reduces weight considerably, while the shape maintains an effective Long edge for arching turns and maintaining control. In powder snow, the tail makes you fall back into the snow by lifting your tips for good floatation while maintaining a neutral ski position. The tail is reinforced with ultra-durable Titanal to keep it in one piece. |
| DIRECTIONAL FLEX | The softer tip floats and initiates turns with ease, while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and control at high speeds. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and tail lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski's lift in deep snow and enables it to get onto hard snow more quickly when riding on the edge. |
| FIVECUT | 5 different Side turn radius Shapes are combined into one to give the ski perfect control, whatever pressure is applied to the edge. This allows the ski to remain agile and responsive whatever your speed. |
