The revolution is underway with the Recon range, which makes alpine ski boots considerably lighter and even more agile. With a weight of 1580g, these alpine ski boots are the lightest model ever produced. K2 has done a masterful job of creating a shell using 4 different densities of TPU. The overall effect offers a perfect balance between agility, power and comfort. The Recon range is designed for high-performance use as the boots offer power and incredible support. This is obtained thanks to the brand's famous shell, but equally the high-density foam in the liners.
In addition to the weight, there are many innovations in the range's footwear. The Fastfit Instep cushions the top part of the inside of the boot to make it easier to put them on. Struggling to get into your boots on a cold February morning will be a thing of the past!
And as you can never have too much good news, the Powerlite shell and integrated Precision Pro / Luxfit liners in all boots in the range are totally thermosettable, so you can completely customise your boots. A custom fit to cocoon your precious feet! The liners are made from high-quality Ultralon foam and have asymmetrical tongues for a more ergonomic fit.
The Recon 120 Boa version features the high-end Precision Pro liner, with a preformed ankle for a comfortable fit from the first time you slip them on. With a flex of 120, it is a little softer than the very stiff 130, but remains firm and guarantees a lot of power and a big return when you put a lot of energy in. It is suitable for both intermediate and advanced skiers. In addition, its BOA® Fit System offers tailored performance and a quick, precise fit.

Precision Pro liner: Pre-moulded and hardens with Ultralon thermo-foam. Stiffer foam and a rigid, asymmetrical tongue for better power and energy transmission, pre-moulded ankles and a high-density Power cuff.

- Gripwalk: Removable, interchangeable insoles designed to work with Marker's GripWalk fastening system for improved grip and comfort when walking and hiking.

BOA® Fit System: Offers tailored performance and precise fit. On this shoe, it consists of 3 elements: rivets, a stainless steel lace and a dial.
Fully Heat-moldable: The shell and cuff of the liner can be heat-molded to a range of foot shapes for a true custom fit.
Multifit Last: The MultiFit shape has been developed in conjunction with the BOA® Fit System to adapt to a variety of foot shapes ranging from 97mm to 100mm. Leg shapes from 97mm to 100mm, eliminating the need for multiple fit options (LV, MV).
Honeycomb bootboard: Stay warm in all circumstances. Absorbs heat and insulates like a down jacket. Retains heat 15% better than traditional footwear.
