With a flex of 105 and a weight of 2400g (the pair), this is a boot designed for experienced skiers looking for a top-of-the-range boot. Thanks to its Bonded Shell, structure with its 2-piece shell and collar, it offers both great responsiveness and support on descents while being very comfortable and light on ascents. You'll love its direct transmission of pressure, its manoeuvrability and the comfort it offers when you're walking.
The X Dual Link stem allows for an impressive range of movement that can swivel over more than 65°, so you'll be able to climb naturally and string together vertical drops. When descending, its elongated collar, wide Power Strap and two hooks wrap the foot effectively but also ensure optimum transmission of support, excellent hold and optimal control.
The liner features IF Touring Pro 100% thermoformable lining for unrivalled comfort which is equipped with a precise and quick lacing system. It features the PuRe Technology, composed of three layers, the transfer of power will be more efficient to the shell, and will allow more support to the heel and great comfort.
The boot features a ski/walk mechanism that allows you to switch quickly between ascending and descending. Finally, its Vibram® contoured sole ensures good grip when walking but also transmits supple support to the bindings and ski.
The Quantum Free W is a Free hiking boot, so you'll appreciate it as much on the way up for its comfort and lightness as on the way down for its control and support.
