The PX71 Prem is a model of piste skis from the Kästlebrand.
A true carving ski, this PX71 Prem is designed for experienced skiers, and stands out for its ability to always keep an angle and link turns together with great agility.
More accessible than the skis in the RX range (which are very physically demanding), this model will allow you to ski all day without your thighs burning on every run. However, the PX71 still has an impressive level of on-piste performance and will be a real treat for those who enjoy endless sessions of carving turns!
The construction combines a wood core with fibreglass plates and a carbon tongue, giving the ski exceptional stability in turns, as well as well-balanced dynamism. The ski gives you feedback out of the turn, but doesn't catapult you either, so your carving is as fluid as possible.
This model also incorporates the brand's patented Hollowtech 3.0 technology: The tip is made lighter in strategic places by removing unnecessary layers, while absorbing shocks even better. Performance is incredible, the tip shakes a lot less and it will be difficult to fault the ski, even when at high speed.
In short, the PX71 Prem is this piste ski that is both supercharged and comfortable thanks to its fluid handling. It's ideal for skiers of a good level who want to have fun linking together beautiful curves exclusively on piste.
Delivered with pre-mountedK11 PRD GWbindings (optimised for the skis).

Core :
Wooden core (poplar/beech) with fibreglass panels and carbon insert
- Base :
UHM sintered graphite
Construction :
- Semi-cap Sandwich: For the DX series, they have used Semi-Cap Sandwich sidewall construction, where the upper layer of the ski protects the ski edges.
Core structure:
WOODCORE: Each Kästle ski is made with the finest wood core, manufactured with precision to one tenth of a millimetre. This allows the brand to control the weight, responsiveness and cushioning characteristics of the ski, resulting in a high-quality, durable product. The wood type, or combination of different woods, is individually catered to each model line, based on the ski‘s intended use.
Technologies:
- Hollowtech 3.0: Their patented technology is specific to ski manufacturing. Removing unneeded layers at the front makes the ski lighter. This method has a number of advantages: the ski absorbs up to 30% of impacts, it is more stable, its grip is stronger, steering is more precise and its overall weight is controlled.
- Elliptical Radius: The shape of the Elliptical Radius determines how quickly and aggressively the ski turns.
- Fast grip Shovel: Short tip in which the contact point is located far forward. This ensures a faster response at the beginning of the turn.
- Fast Grip Tail: Tail with a contact point near the end of the ski. This results in a more aggressive and precise performance at the end of the turn.
Bindings:
- Adjustment range: 255-378mm
- DIN: 3.5-11
