The Prodigy Jr 2026 is an all-mountain ski from East Faction dedicated to young skiers with a Small level.
The skis in the Prodigy range are designed for all-mountain use, but with certain freestyle or freeride specificities depending on the model. All the Prodigy are built in the same way and with the same technology.
They have two rockers at the ends for good handling on all types of snow, forwards and backwards. Only the core and the side cuts vary from one model to another.
The Prodigy Jr 2026 is ready to take you anywhere. It's cut to cut the slopes, take off in the Park and even float in powder snow.
It has a Polyflycore made from extremely light foam that reduces vibrations, allowing young riders to ski effortlessly. The sidecuts ensure that young skiers can turn and toe in effortlessly. Finally, the 2.5mm XL edges are there to give the ski extra durability.

At Faction, there are three possible binding arrangements, from the most advanced to the furthest back: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the brand's recommendations, i.e. Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.

| XL 2.5 MM EDGES | The 2.5mm Edges are 35% thicker than regular 1.8mm Edges, which are already very tough. The addition of Steel gives riders a ski that can withstand the 'aggression' of certain practical activities for longer. |
| ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDECUTS | The sidecuts with elliptic radii consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius on the front and rear parts of the ski. The long radius under the foot makes pivoting quicker and easier, while the shorter radii give a smoother start to curves. These sidecuts are perfectly suited to a wide range of turn angles and sizes. |
| MICRO-CAP ANTI-SLIP | The micro cap is a Hybrid construction that combines premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construcion. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise flake off in the event of impact. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and back of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft, progressive flex in the heel and tip easily absorbs any bumps. This flex makes it easier to start and finish turns. |
| TWIN DIRECTIONAL | The tail is considerably thinner than the tip for increased performance. The Tail twin is an invitation to adopt a playful, freestyle style, making riding in Switch perfectly accessible. |
