In the same way as the bigger ones, Jones has chosen to fully equip kid's boards as well as adults' boards. The Prodigy has premium materials and technologies, making it a serious contender when choosing a board from the huge range on offer.
The Prodigy is a snowboard made to have fun in all conditions. On the slopes, grip is assured by the corrugated Traction Tech 1.0. edges, while in the powder, the Prodigy glides and floats smoothly with the 3D Contour Base technology, which gives a convex shape to the sole. These features make this a forgiving board when it comes to the inevitable catches as kids are refining their skills. The Prodigy remains relatively forgiving.
Kids can try their hands at anything with the versatile Prodigy! Its twin directional shape means it can be ridden regular or switch and is perfect for kids learning to jump. There is enough flex to make the board very pleasant to ride with the necessary grip.
The Prodigy is made for budding young prodigies, and will be the ideal board for all young snowboarders looking for thrills!

Camber:
Directional Rocker : classic camber with rocker for greater float and grip in all snow conditions. The longer tip rocker improves float, while the camber ensures edge hold and response. The shorter tail rocker not only provides the same power and stability than other boards, but prevents catch when entering turns and landing switch.
Shape :
Twin directional : The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts have been set back on the back of the board. These features offer more manoeuvrability in powder and hard snow.
Blunt Nose: the blunt nose provides the lift benefits of a longer nose without the rounded shape and extra weight.
Traction Tech 1.0 : Strategically placed corrugated edges to counteract the negative effect of the rocker and increase edge grip on the snow.
3D Contour Base 1.0: convex base. The edges are raised by 2mm in comparison to the centre of the board.
Progressive Sidecut : The radius at the ends of the sidecut is slightly increased as the edge reaches the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.

- Classic Core : Premium poplar wood core ensures a good pop and a constant and durable flex.
- Biax Fiberglass : a dual-directional fibreglass laminate for a precise and responsive board, whatever the terrain and snow conditions.
- Eco-Plastic Topsheet: Topsheet made from castor beans. This environmentally friendly material is ultra-light, chip and scratch resistant and repels water and snow (snow sticks less to the topsheet).
- Extruded 5000 base : Extruded sole designed to last.
- Recycled ABS: - The ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.
- Wend Natural Wax : Waxed with natural Wend wax, Jones boards are ready to use straight from the factory.
- Bio Resin : All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy.
