The Pro BT is an Avalanche Victim Detector developed by Pieps.
This D.V.A., developed by one of the leaders in the field, is a real technological powerhouse, incorporating all the latest innovations available on the avalanche safety market.
The brand has given the Pro BT a makeover, with a new, more ergonomic case design and a Bluetooth function for better management of settings, software updates and battery power via your smartphone. Thanks to a large 60m range and 60m bandwidth, the Pro BT is very high-performance and enables you to react as quickly as the situation demands via a simplified interface.
Reliable and powerful, the new Pro BT has marking and scanning functions for multiple burials as well as a 3-antenna system that adjusts automatically in the event of inteference in order to constantly send the best signal. This avalanche transceiver is compatible with the iProbe smart probe, which greatly increases search accuracy by automatically switching from the transceiver's beacon to the probe's beacon when it is closer to the victim.
This D.V.A. is also equipped with a self-monitoring function to maintain optimum antenna accuracy, as well as digital signal processing to take account of derived signals.
The Pro BT made by Pieps is one of the most comprehensive offerings on the market. It can be easily adapted to both professional and sole use, for mountain lovers in hazard zones.
Technology:
Unique self-check system: Check all relevant hardware and software, and display the current software version.
- Screen : Perfectly legible.
- Auto-Antenna-Switch : If the transmitting antenna encounters interference from electronic devices or metal, the other antenna is automatically activated.
- Auto-Search-To-Send : This function allows the Pro BT to switch automatically from search mode to transmit mode when the device is not in use for a certain period of time (avalanche).
- iProbe Support : The Powder BT can be temporarily deactivated using the iPROBE intelligent probe. The most powerful signal is automatically displayed on the receiving avalanche transceiver.
- Group verification : check the activity and send settings for the partner avalanche transmitter-receiver. PIEPS recommends carrying out a group check before each outing
- SCAN function: This will give you an overview of all buried emitters within the maximum detectable range.
- Victim selection : Increases efficiency in multiple rescue situations.
- Analogue mode : For special research strategies and training courses
- TX600 support : the TX600 is a mini-transmitter for dogs and equipment, which transmits outside the frequency of the EN300718 standard. They can therefore be found with Pro BT.
- Inclinometer : The inclination of the ground can be checked reliably with the built-in inclinometer.
- Porting the Pieps Pro BT system : Great carrying comfort thanks to its low weight.
- Neoprene pouch with shoulder strap: Quick-Pull-System for quick access to the appliance.
