The Ultralight Butterfly Splitboard 2025 is a versatile snowboard from Jones. Talented in all areas, this is the ideal splitboard for riders who like to do everything (freeride, slope, park...) and who are good at everything.

Its Shape directionnal Tapered 8mm is perfect for riding in powder and lifting. In the same spirit, the 3D Contour Base technology helps to maintain the board on the surface and facilitates turns in fresh snow as well as on groomed snow.

This board is very effective in powder snow, but that's not what it's best at! The Butterfly Split's standard camber profile gives it maximum edge power, plenty of grip and optimum precision in all conditions. The Traction Tech 3.0 technology makes for a board with impeccable grip, both downhill and uphill on icy terrain. The Koroyd technology absorbs vibrations and adds even more responsiveness to your board.

The Butterfly Split also offers an excellent level of performance and less weight on ascents, thanks to its FSC™ Fusion Core. Last but not least, the Butterfly Split uses recycled plastic for its topsheet, recycled steel for the edges and Bio Resin.

The Ultralight Butterfly Split is therefore a very eye-catching splitboard that offers the perfect blend of sensation and security for experienced riders.

Camber:

- True Camber : Classic camber with long edges and two short symmetrical rockers. It features a very short, flat zone between the rocker and camber. Its edge is very long, with limited contact due to its slightly bevelled shape.

Shape:

- Directional: The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts have been set back on the back of the board. These features provide more lift in powder.
the blunt nose provides the lift benefits of a longer nose without the rounded shape and extra weight.
- 3D Contour Base 3.0: Convex shape of the sole. The edges are raised by 7mm in comparison to the centre of the board.
- Bolt-less Bridge: reduces the components of the link box and therefore reducing weight. In addition, the skis are more closely bonded, improving torsional rigidity.
Tapered Shape, 8mm: The tapered tail sinks into the powder for better flotation and faster turns.
- Inside & Outside Traction Tech 3.0 : The corrugated edges offer multiple contact points along the board which improves grip. This technology offsets the reduced length of the edge/snow contact points due to rocker.
- Progressive Sidecut: The radius at the ends of the sidecut is slightly increased as the edge reaches the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.

Karakoram Ultra clips 3C Tip-Lock	Ultra-lightweight and exclusive to Jones, these clips redefine split clip technology. They're also adjustable so you can maintain even compression as your splitboard ages.
Oversized Recycled Edges	Edges made from recycled steel.
Recycled rounded ABS	- The ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.
Flip-Flop base	Base manufacturing process that reduces waste. Two base colours available, delivered randomly.
Wend Natural Wax	All Wend boards are waxed with Wend natural wax and are ready to use as soon as they leave the factory.
Bio Resin	All boards Jones are now constructed with renewable bio-based epoxy, instead of petroleum-based epoxy.

Jones frappe fort avec la Ultralight Butterfly Splitboard 2025 est une planche polyvalente all mountain / freeride à sortir toute l'année. Très joueuse de part son gabarit réduit, la Ultralight Butterfly Split est une planche de poudreuse qui atteint des vitesses folles lorsque la pente est bien raide sur piste ou en dehors et qui déjauge vraiment toute seule.

Avec son poids léger la Ultralight Butterfly Split est facile à la montée et ne manque pas d'accroche si l'on doit s'engager dans une traversée sur neige gelée. Faisant partie de cete nouvelle génération des planches spécifiques et au gabarit réduit, la Ultralight Butterfly Split est une planche idéale pour aller explorer l'arrière pays lors de randonnées techniques. Son cambre standard et son double rocker apportent des entrés en virage facilitées et permettent de bien flotter sur la poudre, c'est pourquoi l'Inside & Outside Traction Tech 3.0 apporte une excellente d'accroche lorsque vous quittez la poudreuse.

Les Plus : excellente accroche, très joueuse, maniable et légère.
