The Jones Ultra Mountain Twin 2024 is, as its name suggests, the Ultra version of the Mountain Twin. The aim of the Ultra range from Jones is to take an already high performance board to the next level.

Here they have made it a hyper versatile board that you can charge at any time, in any snow conditions. Whether it's in 1.5m of powder, carving on the piste, on a steep slope or in freestyle (its speciality) it will never disappoint you. So no surprise that the Freeride World Tour world champion, Sammy Luebke chose this beast to get him to the top of the podium!

With its very rigid flex of 9/10, it can go anywhere without ever losing stability. Its Ultra Construction which combines Power Coreinserts Basalt Stringers and a Triax Fiberglass layer makes for a board with incredible pop and unparalleled responsiveness. As if that wasn't enough, it's mounted on a Sintered 9900 Base sole that will have you gliding along with the feeling of never stopping to accelerate.

The Camrock profile with a center camber and two end rockers, combined with the Directionnal Twin shape, provide a huge pop while maintaining great handling. It is a board that turns quickly and well, whether on snow or in the air.

The Traction Tech 3.0 serrated edges will make you feel like you are carving in the rails as you will have so much grip in your edges.

The Ultra Mountain Twin is an ultra versatile board that will allow the best of you to send heavy at any time but especially that will allow you to stay in control of your board.

Camber:

CamRock Classic camber combined with rocker, for greater lift and grip in all snow conditions. Loooong nose and tip rockers for a huge increase in playfulness and handling. The Camrock considerably improves freestyle performance and powder lift. Definitely the best camber ever produced!

Shape:

Directional Twin : symmetrical shape for ultra-nimble handling. Allows for easy switch riding.

Blunt Nose : the blunt nose provides the lift benefits of a longer nose without the rounded shape and extra weight.

Traction Tech 3.0: The corrugated edges offer multiple contact points along the board which improves grip. This technology offsets the reduced length of the edge/snow contact points due to rocker.

Progressive Sidecut: The radius at the ends of the sidecut is slightly increased as the edge reaches the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.

Technologies:

- FSC™ Power Core: Triple density wood core: ash and paulownia wood with bamboo stringers for increased pop and a longer lifespan.

- FSC Ash Veneerash veneer reduces vibration and distributes flex evenly.

- Triax Fiberlass: a multi-axis fibre glass layer for a responsive ride, whatever the terrain and snow conditions.

- Sintered 9900 base: made from UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and carbon. Extremely easy to repair, it also offers maximum glide properties.

- Flip-Flop base : to minimise waste during the manufacturing process. Two base colours available, delivered randomly.

- Ultra Construction : Jones Ultra Construction takes the original version of the board and makes improvements in materials and construction to optimise each element. Ultra boards are lighter and stronger.

- Oversized Recycled Edges: edges made from recycled steel.

- Recycled Black ABS: the ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.

- Wend Natural Wax: ready to use as soon as they leave the factory, Jones snowboards are already waxed with Wend Natural Wax.

- Super Sap Bio Resin: All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional epoxy.

Freeride Freestyle Pack: Allows you to centre the stance or ride in setback depending on the conditions.

Un shape freestyle et une âme freeride font de cette board un instrument de glisse aussi joueur qu’efficace, sur tous les terrains et toutes les conditions de neige. On retrouve les mêmes caractéristiques que ses grandes sœurs : renforts carbone sous les pieds pour plus de dynamisme et de tenue en torsion et Traction Tech 3.0 pour l'accroche.

L'Ultra Mountain Twin est tout simplement bluffante par ses capacités aussi bien en freeride qu'en freestyle. Sécurisante par sa stabilité et son accroche dans les conditions plus difficiles, elle est précise dans chaque courbe et sur chaque réception. Saut, slash ou encore Jib, l'Ultra Mountain Twin apporte une sérieuse touche de freestyle dans vos rides en backcountry.
