The Ubac 102 is a men's freerando ski from the Chamonix brand Zag.
This product has been developed for those who ride with the primary goal of riding beautiful lines and making the most of descents, but who still want to keep a ski that is capable of climbing high thanks to its light construction. With a 102 mm waist width, the Ubac 102 is made for wide open spaces and will make you float in powder, it gains in stability and lift compared to the Ubac 95, especially in complicated snow.
It benefits from a light construction to swallow the gain in altitude without flinching! To achieve a weight of just 2.9 kg per pair (176 cm), the brand has used Semi-cap LIGHT construction. To simplify, there is a paulownia wood core, renowned for its lightness and performance, and a new glass/carbon combination to stiffen the whole ski.
As for the shape, the Ubac 102 was designed with a Medium: camber underfoot for efficiency and power. There is also a progressive double rocker at the tip which improves buoyancy when conditions are right, as well as the ski's manoeuvrability.

Ski length/Turn radius:
