Spring Break - Powder Racers 2023
The Spring Break Powder Racers 2023 from Capita is a men's and women's freeride board for advanced riders.
The Spring Break range from Capita has been very successful in recent years, as a very surfy style powder snowboard range. Each board from the Spring Break range was designed to be easy to handle and hover above the powder. And the Powder Racers is a good example of this. Its particular shape is similar to the Ultralight Powder Displacement Snowcraft, but the Powder Racers is a more accessible version.
The Surf Rocker Profile, as its name suggests, is inspired by the shape of a surfboard. A flat camber between the feet is combined with the Surf Rock on the nose and the tail. The result is a directional shape with bindings retracted towards the tail and a longer nose, as such providing improved buoyancy in powder and tighter turns.
The Powder Racers is equipped with the Cork Inlaid Hover Core. This fine and light core is a mixture of Paulownia and Poplar. In the middle of the inserts is a large cross-shaped cork patch offering vibration absorption for an optimised surfy feeling. In addition to the cork, Technora & Flax Boosters inserts enhance the cushioning and increase the energy return for a comfortable yet powerful board.
The Powder Racers will give a smile to snowboarders looking to lay tricks in powder, without breaking the bank!

Camber:
Surf Blended Radial/ Directional : inspired by surfboards, the Blended radial sidecut offers various curve radii between the centre of the board and contact zones, adapted for various aspects of riding. Its directional shape, with bindings set back on the back of the board and a nose longer than the tail, offers better flotation in deep snow.
Shape:
Blended radial/True Twin : Symmetrical board in terms of dimensions and flex. Ideal for freestyle riding and jibbing. A Blended Radial sidecut offers a different turn radius between the centre of the board and the contact zones, suitable for certain aspects of riding.

La board dispose de plusieurs technologies amortissant qui la rendent très surfy et confortable, en poudreuse comme sur neige damée. En peuf les sensations sont dingues, l'immense nose permet de déjauger les yeux fermés et le Surf Rock arrière permet de la manier sans forcer. En trafolle la board tient bien la route aussi. C'est large et ça n'a pas peur de filer droit.
Les Plus : réactivité, flottabilité, le prix pour une board qu'on se sortira pas tous jours
Les Moins : freestyle (mais ce n'est pas ce qu'on lui demande)
