Avalanche safety pack -
The Pack Safety Box Evo BT is an avalanche safety equipment kit from the brand Arva.
This complete and high-quality pack, dedicated to mountain enthusiasts in snowy conditions, includes an Evo BT victim detector, an Access TS probe, and a Spark 240 shovel.
The Evo BT is a high-end avalanche victim detector (DVA) from Arva that combines performance and connectivity to satisfy the new generation of users.
Equipped with a search band width of 60 m and Bluetooth technology, you can connect it to the ARVA® app to access a range of services: configure the DVA, prepare your outing, or even train for rescue. Moreover, during your search it will automatically switch back to transmit mode in the event of a secondary avalanche. You can also easily ensure that the entire group has activated their DVA thanks to the Group Check function: simply place the device in proximity search mode.
Finally, in multi-victim situations, this device features a marking function for up to 4 victims and 3 antennas to refine search accuracy. It is also equipped with a flexible holster that fits all body types.
The robust Spark 240 probe measures up to 2.40 m and consists of 8 sections of 30 cm each. Its Pin Lock locking system allows for instant and precise tensioning. This probe weighs only 250 g. Finally, the Access TS shovel is effective in all conditions. This telescopic shovel extends up to 72 cm and weighs 590 g.
If you want to equip yourself to tackle all types of snowy slopes with peace of mind, opt for the Pack Safety Box Evo BT.

| SEARCH STRIP WIDTH | The search strip width corresponds to the area scanned by the search device. The larger the search strip width, the greater the area covered by the device. This can be used to compare the performance of different transceivers. |
| AUTOMATIC RETURN TO TRANSMISSION | During a search, in the event of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmission function automatically switches the device back to transmission mode without user action. The return to transmission occurs either by timer, i.e., after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be configured in the device's settings menu. |
| DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT | Interference management optimises the device’s performance during a search in an environment “polluted” by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the searching device automatically reduces the search strip width to focus on the signal of the device being searched for, ignoring parasitic frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user. |
| GROUP CHECK | The Group Check function simply ensures that all members of a group have a DVA transmitting. The group check function places the device in close proximity search mode, allowing each group member to be checked individually by standing less than one metre from them. |
| MARKING FUNCTION | During a search, once a victim is located, the marking function allows you to disregard that victim to focus on searching for another victim. The signal from the “marked” victim is then no longer taken into account for the remainder of the search. |
| AUTOTEST | When switched on, the device performs an automatic check. It monitors battery level, device functionality, and informs you if there is a problem. |
