Avalanche safety pack -
The Pack Safety Box Evo 5+ is an avalanche safety equipment kit from the brand Arva.
This complete and high-quality pack, dedicated to mountain enthusiasts in snowy conditions, contains an Evo 5+ avalanche transceiver, an Access probe, and an Access 240 shovel.
The Evo 5+ is a high-end avalanche transceiver from Arva that combines performance and compactness to satisfy the new generation of users. Very compact, the Evo 5+ will easily fit into any pocket of your jacket while remaining quickly accessible.
Equipped with a search band width of 50 m, this device automatically switches back to transmit mode in case of a secondary avalanche during your search. You can also easily ensure that the entire group has activated their transceiver thanks to the Group Check function: simply place the device in proximity search mode.
Finally, in multi-victim situations, this device features a marking function for up to three victims and three antennas to refine search accuracy. You can also rely on the integrated speaker and the turnaround alarm that guides you back on track to find victims quickly and efficiently.
The robust probe Access 240 measures up to 2.40 m and consists of 6 sections of 40 cm each. Its Flash Lock locking system allows for instant and precise tensioning. This probe weighs only 190 g. Finally, the Access shovel proves effective in all conditions. This shovel measures 64 cm and weighs 490 g.
If you want to equip yourself to tackle any snowy slope with peace of mind, opt for the Pack Safety Box Evo 5+.

| SEARCH STRIP WIDTH | The search strip width corresponds to the area scanned by the search device. The larger the search strip width, the greater the area covered by the device. This can be used to compare the performance of different beacons. |
| AUTOMATIC RETURN TO TRANSMIT | During a search, in case of a secondary avalanche, the return to transmit function automatically switches the device back to transmit mode without user intervention. The return to transmit is triggered either by a timer, meaning after a delay without user action, or by a motion detector, after a delay without device movement. These delays can be configured in the device's settings menu. |
| DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT | Interference management optimises device performance during a search in an environment “polluted” by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the searching device automatically reduces the search strip width to focus on the signal of the searched device, ignoring parasitic frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user. |
| GROUP CHECK | The Group Check function simply ensures that all group members are carrying a transmitting DVA. The group check function places the device in proximity search mode, allowing each group member to be individually checked by standing within one metre of them. |
| MARKING FUNCTION | During a search, once a victim is located, the marking function allows you to disregard that victim to focus on searching for another. The signal from the “marked” victim is no longer taken into account for the remainder of the search. |
| AUTOTEST | When switched on, the device performs an automatic check. It verifies the battery level, the proper functioning of the device, and informs you if there is a problem. |
