The Prodigy 0 2025 is an all-mountain ski from East. Factiondesigned for Beginner level skiers.

The latest addition to the Prodigy range, the Prodigy 0 is built on the same base as the other models. Only the core and the side cuts vary from one model to another. All have a Twin Directional shape with two rockers at the ends , giving them excellent behaviour and handling on all types of snow, in both tip and tail. What's more, the XL edges and sandwich construction add durability to the skis, while the elliptical radius sidecut allows you to carve different types of curve, from carving on the slopes to big, flexible curves in fresh snow.

The Prodigy 0 is an excellent ski for learning to ski in general, but especially for discovering what you like best about skiing. Without excelling in any one area, this ski is highly versatile , allowing you to tackle freeride as well as carving, and even the moguls of the snowparks. Once you're comfortable on your first skis, you're free to buy a more specific pair and keep the Prodigy 0 as your everyday skis.

At Faction, there are three possible binding arrangements, from the most advanced to the furthest back: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the brand's recommendations, i.e. Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.

Poplar / Ash Core	Poplar is a soft, light-coloured and strong wood that has good flex and pop, as well as a high capacity to absorb vibrations. Ash is a heavier and harder wood that combines well with poplar because it provides more rigidity and durability. This mix offers excellent edge hold on hard snow and a solid platform for big parties, and plenty of pop and flex to unleash your creativity.
XL 2.5 mm Edges	The 2.5mm Edges are 35% thicker than regular 1.8mm Edges, which are already very tough. The addition of Steel gives riders a ski that can withstand the 'aggression' of certain practical activities for longer.
Elliptical radius sidecuts	The sidecuts with elliptic radii consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius on the front and rear parts of the ski. The long radius under the foot makes pivoting quicker and easier, while the shorter radii give a smoother start to curves. These sidecuts are perfectly suited to a wide range of turn angles and sizes.
Micro-Cap anti-shatter	The micro-cap is a Hybrid construction that combines premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construcion. Thanks to the micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise chip off in the event of impact.
Moustache flex	Stability at the front and back of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft, progressive flex in the heel and tip easily absorbs any bumps. This flex makes it easier to start and finish turns.
Twin Directional	The tail is considerably thinner than the tip for increased performance. The Tail twin is an invitation to adopt a playful, freestyle style, making riding in Switch perfectly accessible.

Le Prodigy 4 2024 étant le plus fat de la gamme, il était très attendu et on avait beaucoup d'attentes à son égard... Il les a toutes comblées, sa portance en neige fraîche est énorme et sa maniabilité reste parfaite peu importe l'épaisseur de neige.

Le Prodigy 4 est une belle réussite pour ceux qui recherchent un bon compromis entre fun et performances en backcountry. Plus accessible que les autres fats de la marque Faction, il est aussi plus joueur.
