Millisurf Split 2021
Another member of the Splitboard range for men is the Amplid Millisurf Split. This Splitboard is the top of the range of the brand, and is aimed at the advanced/expert riders, ready to set off to conquer the most committed spots in the mountains, where nobody has ever ridden before.
With its shape inspired by the Surfari, the Millisurf is the perfect ally to go powder hunting. The shape of the Millisurf makes Big-Mountain turns easier, the reduced weight of the board thanks to the BBP Core makes the climb much less tiring.Â
The Millisurf is a very handy Splitboard that allows you to easily slide between the trees thanks to the board's shape. The high nose of the board and the Swallow Tail make it possible to go over all types of snow, for maximum fun without getting stuck.
Like each Amplid splitboard, the Millisurf is delivered pre-assembled with its clips, which secure the two parts of the splitboard for improved performance when riding.

Camber :
Cruise Camber (Camber+rocker) : the standard camber under the supports completed by the rocker on the nose makes the board even more lively in powder and gives the board the possibility to go everywhere.
Shape :
Tapered Directional : Classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the tip is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater the stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Floatation Tips : the square nose increases the flotation of the board in powder snow
Core :
BBP Core : ultra-light wood core based on pauwlonia, balsa and birch
Full Carbon Jacket : carbon layer that provides maximum strength to the core. Carbon fibre allows the use of thinner, almost weightless laminates to achieve the same flex profile. Boosts the board's capabilities.
Pre-cured Impact Plates : core reinforcement at fastener inserts limiting impacts caused by bindings
Topsheet :
Aero Epoxy : double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a reactive and tolerant board.
Glass Impact Pads : fibreglass reinforcement pads placed at the bindings. The angles of aluminum splitboard bindings can damage the topsheet of the board. Glass Impact Pads improve the durability of the board
Nano Film : topsheet reinforced on the exposed areas with a thin polyamide layer
Sole :
Sint 7 HD base : premium wax-absorbing sintered sole for unrivalled glide
Powder Pontoon : carbon reinforcements
Bolted Tip Clips : use of screws instead of rivets. Easier to change in case of breakage
Splitboard Tune : the edges are slightly rounded at the ends to make it easier to fit and remove the skins.
