Description

The Kodama 2025 is a splitboard from Amplid, for intermediate to advanced riders.

Its shape, camber and technologies make it a very versatile board with which you can have fun on small paths between fir trees, in large fields of fresh snow or even on small kickers shaped naturally or not.

The Cruise Camber profile with the long camber and the short front rocker allows a good grip when climbing and an easy release when descending in powder. If you are riding close to the slopes, you can also link carved turns on the way down, thanks to the long effective edge of the Directional shape.

For optimum comfort, the Freequencer is equipped with a lightweight and durable Lite Core, shock-absorbing pads under the supports to absorb shocks and vibrations, and All-Terrain Tips, which ensure maximum lift in powder.

Like every Amplidsplitboard, the Kodama comes pre-assembled with the Amplid Hooks. These small parts firmly secure the two parts of the splitboard together for improved riding performance.

- Tapered Directional: Classic shape with a nose longer than the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. A tapered shape is one where the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit the curve. Stability at high speed and improved flotation guaranteed.

- Directional Cruise Camber : The standard camber under the supports complemented by the rocker in the nose makes the board even more lively in powder and gives it the ability to go everywhere.

- All-terrain Tips: Slightly wider tips that increase lift without compromising the board's responsiveness.

Centrifugal Carbon	Unidirectional carbon strips in the tail amplify the pop and energy output.
Extruded 4 base	Extruded sole with excellent glide that rarely needs waxing.
Biax Glass	Double layer of fibreglass applied in two directions for a responsive, forgiving board.
Splitboard Tune	The edges are slightly rounded at the ends to make it easier to fit and remove skins.
Bolted Tip Clips	Use of screws instead of rivets. Easier to change in case of breakage
Customs Clips	The forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house byAmplid's R&D team, offer a reliable yet weightless connection between board halves and have a matt black aesthetic.

Team review

La Kodama est le nouveau modèle de splitboard de chez Amplid. Ils ont voulu avec ce modèle toucher un panel plus large de splitboarders, tout en conservant un split performant en montée comme en descente.

Pour cela, ils se sont inspirés de l'esprit japonais. En effet, ce n'est pas un hasard si Kodama en japonais signifie "l'esprit dans la forêt" : ce modèle, au dire des athlètes, est LE board à avoir quand on slalome entre les arbres !

Les Plus : Polyvalence, flottabilité, maniabilité.

Les Moins : R.A.S dans son programme
