The Family Tree collection is a snowboard range developed by Burton which aims to create freeride snowboards with innovative shapes and characteristics.
The Family Tree Full Nelson Splitboard is a men's snowboard from Burton.
This snowboard is for intermediate-level riders. This is an energetic board that needs speed! Its directional camber profile offers stability at all speeds. Its directional Shape and twin flex makes glide more dynamic and allow for short turns with pronounced float in powder.
The Carbon Highlights High Voltage 45° fibreglass not only reduces the weight of the board but it also improves underfoot board feel. To top it all, Channel splitboard Burton's Channel splitboard system adds mounting and assembling ease and comfort once you have finished climbing.
The Full Nelson Splitboard is a durable board, which improves speed and comfort when riding powder snow.
Flex: Twin : The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail for a balanced and versatile ride in a classic or switch style.

Camber:
Directional : The directional camber profile has camber under both feet for optimal stability in deep turns and variable conditions, and a Rocker nose which provides height and better float.
Shape:
Directional (taper 18mm): The directional Freeride shape features a camber and sidecut centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle stance when riding flat base, while on-edge turning is fast and tight with the float and skill of a directional board.

fibreglass - Carbon Highlights High Voltage 45°: The Carbon Highlights High Voltage 45° fibreglass construction optimises each layer of the fibreglass matrix, adding an integral carbon coating to reduce weight and refine twist feel, and incorporating carbon strips to increase the lifespan of your snowboard.
Base - Sintered WFO : features a specially formulated wax that is infused deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density material, making it extremely durable for all season long in all conditions.

La Family Tree Straight Chuter est une board à la fois douce et dynamique. Douce dans la poudreuse et brutale sur piste.
Dans la neige profonde, la Straight Chuter est un vrai régal, elle glisse toute seule, la flottaison est bonne et les virages passent sans effort. Mais une fois sur piste, on a l'impression d'avoir une autre board sous le pied. Elle devient sportive, dynamique et demande à attaquer à chaque fin de virage. Ça peut être une bonne chose pour les riders qui cherchent tous types de ride et qui veulent varier les plaisirs.
