The Dancer 79 2026 White is an on-piste ski from the brand Faction designed for advanced skiers.
Thanks to the use of two titanium plates, the skis in the Dancer range are ultra-stable at high speeds and absorb vibrations caused by challenging snow conditions. With a poplar wood core, the Dancer 79 offer great lightness and exceptional dynamism. Used alone, poplar provides pop, which notably ensures good edge grip on piste.
The Dancer 79 is quite narrow with its 79 mm underfoot. It is a true carving machine on piste but can still venture off-piste occasionally.
With a sharp look and a freeski soul, the Dancer 79 features a long tip rocker and a slight tail rocker to improve flotation in fresh snow and enhance manoeuvrability on piste, allowing quick transitions from edge to edge. The sandwich construction provides solid and powerful sidewalls along most of the ski, delivering optimal grip and a lively response in all situations.
In summary, the Dancer 79 does an excellent job for skiers looking to go big on groomed runs or in soft snow.

At Faction, three binding mountings are possible, from the most forward to the most rearward: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, mountings will be done according to the brand’s recommendations, namely Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine; Newschool on Studio.
| POPLAR CORE | Poplar is a light-coloured, softwood that is lightweight and durable, offering good flex and pop, as well as a great capacity to absorb vibrations. When used alone, this wood provides pop, makes butters easy to perform, and offers great stability on landing — three essential attributes for a park ski — as well as the torsional stability required for good edge grip on piste. |
| XL EDGES 2.5 MM | The 2.5 mm edges are 35% thicker than the standard 1.8 mm edges, which are already very durable. The addition of steel allows riders to have skis that will withstand "aggressions" related to certain riding styles for longer. |
| ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDE CUT | Elliptical radius side cuts consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii at the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot allows quicker and easier pivoting, while the shorter radii help initiate turns smoothly. These side cuts are perfectly suited to a wide variety of lengths and turn angles. |
| ULTRA-STRONG SIDECUT SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION | This construction features reinforcements along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges thus provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski is carving a turn, while protecting the wood core, edges, and topsheet from potential external impacts and damage. |
| MICRO-CAP CHIP-RESISTANT | The micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines premium sidewall sandwich construction, fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction delivers exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that might otherwise chip upon impact. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and rear of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft and progressive flex at the endpiece and tip easily absorbs all bumps. This flex facilitates the initiation and exit of turns. |
| FLAT ALL MOUNTAIN ENDPIECE | This traditional flat endpiece is designed to offer maximum speed, edge hold, and control when linking turns at mach 2. The slight added rocker brings a touch of modernity, and this shape will allow you to slash your turns even more easily while avoiding any unwanted catch in fresh snow. |
