AVD (Avalanche Victim Detector) -
The Evo 4 is an avalanche transceiver (DVA - Détecteur de Victimes d’Avalanche) from the brand Arva that offers a playful grip and simplified use.
It combines performance with simplicity, so that everyone can benefit from a powerful and efficient device. Equipped with an interface that is both intuitive and high-performing, this device is suitable for users looking to develop their technical skills in avalanche rescue. It will be your best ally in multiple-victim situations thanks to the marking function for up to 3 victims.
This device features the Group Check mode, allowing easy verification of several devices. The Clip For Safe system ensures the user that their device automatically switches to transmit mode when the shoulder strap is fastened. It has three antennas, an LCD screen with direction and distance indicators over a 40 m search range.
Note: The Holster for carrying the DVA, which can replace the classic strap system, is not included.

Group Check :
The Group Check function allows you to easily verify if each member of your group has their beacon set to transmit mode. The group check function enables the device to perform a fine search, allowing you to individually check group members at a distance of one metre.
Clip For Safe :
As soon as you put on your transmitter-receiver and clip the strap, it automatically switches on and starts transmitting. This is a simple and practical way to ensure your device is in transmit mode and increases everyone's safety when you go off-piste.
