The Core Carbon 89 Lite is a touring ski from Hagan.

Versatile and lightweight, the Core Carbon 89 Lite is aimed at intermediate tourers looking for an all-round ski.

There's a Caruba wood construction reinforced with fibreglass. Some carbon is particularly located on the ends of the ski to provide better control and reduce vibrations. The materials used have been chosen to be as light as possible so as not to weigh the ski down unnecessarily, making it easier to climb and change direction.

The Core Carbon 89 Lite is very manoeuvrable, making it easy to link long corners and then move on to short ones. This means you can easily adapt to the terrain you're working in. What's more, it has a double rocker and elliptical-shaped spatulas which makes it easier to take curves in fresh snow. Its 89mm skid is wider than the Core Carbon 84 Lite version, which therefore offers better lift in powder.

But the Core Carbon 89 Lite hasn't said its last word, and its handling is exemplary: it's stable when it needs to be and its edge grip is excellent thanks to the addition of ABS sidewalls. It can be driven on all types of snow and on all courses.
