The men's Cartographer is a freeride board from Burton.
The Cartographer has been designed to ride the lesser-known slopes in our mountains. This is a freeride board that demands fresh powder.
With its shape, flex and directional camber, the Cartographer is made to ride everywhere. Offering plenty of float in deep snow and control on all types of snow, you'll take it everywhere, no matter the conditions.
Designed with a soft and resistant FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 800G Core, the Cartographer is also dynamic and maintains good edge grip thanks to its Dualzone™ EGD™ technology. Even better, the Infinite Ride™, technology means that the board will retain its flex and other performance properties season after season.
The Cartographer is a board for intermediate and advanced riders who want to ride in powder and on the piste all season round.

Flex: Directional 7/10: The directional flex provides more dynamic tail and a more flexible nose which allow the rider to stay in control across all terrains and in all conditions.
Sidecuts: 305-258-300 for the 159cm size
Turn radius: 7.30 m (159 cm)
Camber:
Directional camber : The directional camber profile has camber under both feet for optimal stability in deep turns and variable conditions, and a Rocker nose which provides height and better floatation.
Shape:
Directional (5mm taper): Its directional shape is designed with a nose that is slightly longer than tail in order to concentrate pop in the tail, while providing a lot of float, fluidity and control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Materials/Technologies :
Core - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 800G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox : The Super Fly 800G core is a highly dynamic two-wood core with laminations of hard and soft wood to reduce overall weight without limiting performance. The wood grain designed with Dualzone EGD is positioned along the edges under the toes and heel in two continuous areas, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge grip and enhanced responsiveness.
fibreglass - Triax™ : Triax fibreglass offers versatile flex and responsivity for all types of riding, from smooth to intense.
Base - Sintered : The solid, ultra-porous sintered base offers increased durability and wax absorption for improved gliding feel.
The Channel® : The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with major brands' bindings.
Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for a lighter weight and improved handling.
Infinite Ride™: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, pop and other characteristics throughout its lifespan.
Epoxy Super Sap® : Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which certainly works in our favour
