The Backland 78 UL are touring skis for men from Atomic.
The Backland 78 UL benefit from the same structure as the Backland 65 UL which have proven themselves in the World Cup. Equipped with a 78mm intermediate waist, they are stable and efficient in descent, and very light on the way up. With good lift, they are ideal for light mountain touring.
Easy to use, the Backland 78 UL are equipped withHRZN tips that allow you to ski on powder and wet snow very easily. Its all-mountain rocker 15/85/0 is versatile and suitable for all terrains and all types of snow, whether you want to ski on piste or off-piste.
The Backland 78 UL also feature a 100% Ultra Light Woodcore core constructed of poplar and carob tree which makes them one of the lightest mountain skis on the market. Their carbon inserts above and below the core allow the weight of the skis to be reduced as much as possible, while maintaining very good stability and solidity.
As a little extra, the Backland 78 UL are equipped with notches on the tip to mount skins very quickly in competition.
